montage IT - model photos
Below are three images of the model i designed for my montages. i chose a photographer as my artist + based my design around the function of a camera lens. the white part of the structure is an abstraction of a lens being wound out - the reason why this part of the structure winds up from the rear of the building around the black element. this element is where the image is captured + is therefore the primary 'studio' space.
the bottom two images are the photos i used in the actual montages [next post].

draw IT - Fisher House Drawings
Plans, Sections + Elevations of Louis Kahn's Norman Fisher House. For the rendering process, i used copic markers initially and added highlights with a white pencil.
When i presented the drawings, they were presented above each other in the order they are presented below. i wanted to show the plans within the ground line + have all sections + elevations, the more 3D images above the ground; as if the drawings had grown from the plans.
